FAQ's

Q. After I make my order when will my instant kitchen garden arrive?

A. This will depend upon what time of year you make your order.
We begin to send out the Instant Kitchen gardens in the early part of the spring when the weather begins to warm up and there is less of a frost risk. This is normally the end of April beginning of May.
From this point onwards orders are sent out as soon as possible after we receive them.


Q. What do I do if my baby plants arrive before I’m ready to plant them into the garden?

A. Because the plants are still growing in their own individual pot of compost as long as you open the box, give them a good watering and put them outside in a sensible place they will stay healthy for a day or two before planting. (Make sure slugs, snails or other hungry creatures can’t get to them!)


Q. Will I receive confirmation of my order?

A. All orders are acknowledged by email. As long as we have your e-mail address you should receive an email as soon as you make your order. Sometimes, like anyone, we do experience the odd technical hitch so if you don't receive an email, please call us on 0845 603 3684 or email enquiries@rocketgardens.co.uk


Q. I need some help in deciding what plants to order for my garden?

A. Please send us an e-mail with your queries to enquiries@rocketgardens.co.uk and we will be happy to send you some suggestions.


Q. What happens if you don't have exactly what I order in stock

A. Sometimes, due to seasonal changes, we will not be able to send out exactly what is listed on the contents of a gift voucher or instant vegetable garden. We will however replace those plants which are unavailable with some which are in season at the time. (We like to work with nature and the seasons and so hopefully will you!)


Q. Will you pass my e-mail address or personal details to other companies?

A. We never pass on your email address to other companies. We may email you with further details of our products, seasonal offers and so on but we promise not to bombard you with junk mail!


Q. How much are your postage and packing charges?

A.Postage and packaging is free on all Instant Kitchen Gardens to mainland UK. Mixed orders are subject to a £5.99 delivery charge within mainland UK. Delivery addresses outside of mainland UK will be charged slightly more, but we will always inform you exactly how much.


Q. What if I am away when plants are to be delivered?

A. If you think you will be away, please inform us prior to the specified despatch date and we will try to arrange for delivery to a friend or relative, or we can delay sending out your order until a more suitable time.


Q. I'm having trouble compiling my basket. Why?

A. In order to compile your order, cookies must be enabled. Cookies are small files kept on your computer to provide information to websites - more details of cookies and how to adjust security levels can be found in the Help Menus of your browser. Our cookies do not contain any personal details, and are used purely to process your order.
