Strawberry Plants – Honeoye (early season)

£4.99

A heavy cropping strawberry variety with good disease resistance
This is an early variety of strawberry that has good disease resistance. It is known for being a heavy cropper and will produce a good amount of fruit to pick in June. It’s a much loved variety for UK growing as it does well in more ‘moderate’ growing conditions (which basically means it is very tolerant of our British summers!) – a great choice if you live in cooler parts of the country.

Number of plants: 3 (in biodegradable pots)

Variety: Honeoye

Can be grown in: Plant strawberries in the ground, containers, window boxes or grow bags. Find out more about growing strawberries in our growing guide below.

In the kitchen: Strawberries are great picked fresh from the garden served with lashings of Cornish clotted cream! Yummy yummy yummy! This variety makes good jam too.

Can be delivered from: Spring to late Autumn. Please see our Help Centre for up-to-date delivery info.

When we deliver
We deliver these plants from spring to late autumn, depending upon the season. It is a little tricky for us to give a specific date as we do not use any artificial heat to raise our plants, so we are a little dependant on the weather.

You can order from…
These plants are available to be ordered and dispatched right up until late July, as the plants arrive as healthy young plants and will have already been growing for at least 2-3 months before you receive them, giving you a great head start on your vegetable growing!

Do I need to sign for them?
All our plant orders are dispatched with an overnight courier* to mainland UK and do not need to be signed for when they are delivered, but will be left somewhere safe. When placing your order, please let us know where you would like the plants left if you are not in when the courier delivers.

We will keep you posted
You will receive an email approximately a week before your order is dispatched and another on the day your plants are packed and leave us so you know to expect and prepare for their arrival.
