This variety of winter squash has a deliciously dense, firm flesh and a beautifully sweet and nutty flavour with an unusually flat shape. The skin is a green/grey colour and the fruits grow to approximately 1.5kg. It’s very easy to grow winter squash from plug plants – just choose a sunny spot and plant in beds or in a large container.
