This is a herbaceous perennial which can be over-wintered in mild areas. The beautiful plants foliage has an aniseed flavour.

In the kitchen: Tarragon is wonderfully versatile, often used to flavour sauces, oils and vinegars. It is tastes great with chicken, seafood, soups, rice and pasta.

Can be delivered from: Late April to July. These plants will arrive in 9cm pots.

The right site

Tarragon is best grown in well-drained soil with plenty of sunshine.

Looking after your plants....

Tarragon will do well as long as you keep it warm and dry.

Tarragon does not like to get too wet, so just a little watering from time to time during dry spells will be fine.

After 3 or 4 years it is advisable to divide the plant at the roots.
