      This is a fabulous way to grow your own veg all year round. It has been designed to grow well in two standard raised beds or a medley of containers and grow bags making it a fabulous little garden for the serious gardener who is a little short on space.

      You’ll receive three deliveries across the year, in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Each delivery contains lots of baby plants for you to simply pop into the veg patch so that you can grow and harvest your own veggies all year round. You can start at any time of the year!

      This is a super tasty, popular variety of beetroot that produces smooth skinned, dark red, large vegetables.

      In the kitchen: This variety of beetroot is great for roasting or you can pick them a little earlier as baby beets and use the leaves in stir-fries or salads. Delicious!

      Plant out: late April to July/Aug. These plants will arrive bare-rooted with an approximate height of 3-12cm.

      This variety will produce firm, flattish-round bulbs of a beautiful dark purple colour and red-tinged flesh. An excellent cropping red onion with good storage potential.

      In the kitchen: Onions are endlessly versatile and an essential ingredient in countless recipes. Red onions are an attractive, milder, sweeter alternative to the yellow onion. Good for salads, marinades, salsas and roasts.

      With its strong growing habit, Musselburgh produces huge, handsome leeks with thick stems and dark green leaves. It is reliable, easy to grow, winter hardy, with good disease resistance and an excellent strong flavour. It will be ready for harvesting late summer to early winter.

      In the kitchen: Delicious in soups, stews and pies. You can steam, fry or boil. Finely chopping leeks brings out their flavour and texture.

      This is a very popular, compact curly kale that is an extremely nutritious leafy veg that looks great and requires little attention to produce a good crop. It is exceptionally hardy and grows really well through autumn and winter giving you a nice, constant supply of healthy greens from your garden.

      In the kitchen: This is an incredibly nutritious vegetable. It can be steamed, baked or fried with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle of seasoning to make delicious kale crisps or used in smoothies.

      Can be delivered from: late April to July/Aug.  These plants will arrive bare-rooted with an approximate height of 10-15cm.

      Ready to harvest: July onwards
