    This is a fabulous plant that grows quite large. It’s great looking. Best used as a cut-and-come-again leaf it has a really punchy, mustardy flavour. Add baby leaves to salads or treat larger leaves like spinach and wilt them down.

    Planting/Growing Advice: Plant plugs in spring/summer approx 15cm apart in planters, raised beds, pots, containers or grow bags.

    When to harvest: Start cutting the salad leaves when the plants reach about 10cm high. Clip the leaves with scissors, and the plants will re-grow and can be trimmed several times.

    This variety produces small-to- medium sized bulbs to harvest in late summer. The feathery foliage looks lovely in the veg patch, and is useful as a filler for cut flowers too. Bulb fennel is very easy-going – just pop it in the ground in fertile soil, keep it well watered and it should do well.

    This is a special variety for the production of delicious mini cobs which can be harvested at about 10 cm in length.
