Easy growing salad leaves for autumn and winter
If you are keen to begin harvesting tasty salads just a few of weeks after planting, then this little pack of cut and come again salad plants is perfect. You’ll receive a delicious mixture of different salad plants including lettuce, spinach, rocket, mizuna and mustard, so you can pick a few leaves from each to make your own mixed salad. You can expect to harvest a bit from each plant from as early as November, and, with reasonable conditions and regular picking, it should keep you going right through till spring.
Number of plants: 120 plug plants (organic*)
Can be grown in: Pots and containers, grow bags, raised beds.
In the kitchen: Pick a few leaves from each to make your own mixed salad and ditch the supermarket salad bags this autumn and winter.
Ready to harvest: Some plants will be harvested before Christmas, others will be ready in the new year and early Spring.
Delivery: These plug plants can be delivered from early September until mid/late October.
