A crunchy salad plant for winter growing
A frizzy, frilly feast of a plant! Harvest the young endive leaves as a cut & come again to add a punchy flavour to salads, or wait until the whole head has matured. It’ll withstand a light frost, but cover with fleece if heavy frosts/snow are forecast. This is a great plant to grow if you enjoy a bit of crunch in your salads, and it will produce plenty!
