A brilliant buttercrunch lettuce for winter growing
This is a fab buttercrunch lettuce for winter growing and we are delighted to add it to our plant collection this autumn. We find it best to wait and harvest as whole heads, but if you’re impatient you can pick some of the outer leaves earlier in the season. It is nice and hardy so will withstand the winter well, although you could cover it with horticultural fleece if it turns really cold.
