Echinops – Ritro

Brilliant Blues for Bees and Vases!
Also known as Globe Thistle, these are excellent for cutting as well as good for bees, butterflies and other pollinators. They grow tall, to around 1 metre high, and look very impressive at the back of borders. The flowers are good for drying too. Best planted 50-60cm apart. Flowers from July to September (most likely in the second year).
