Quick growing and versatile
This is a dwarf variety growing to just 45cm in height. A green herb with wiry, thread-like leaves that grow in clusters. It has a strong, distinctive taste that is like a combination of fennel, anise and celery, with warm, slightly bitter undertones.

Can be grown in: Fennel hates having its roots being disturbed or being transplanted, so plant in a permanent spot, either in a container or straight into the ground.
In the kitchen: Treat dill like bay leaves and let it add flavour to soups and stews, or add to the cooking water when you boil potatoes. Dill can also be used in bread, soups, vegetable dishes, and pickles, salad dressings, or to make dill vinegar. It works well with fish dishes.
Can be delivered from: Late April to July. These plants will arrive in 9cm pots.
