Globe artichoke plants are easy to grow and will last for years
Producing a tight globe-shaped green and purple head, these plants look fantastic in any garden. Globe Artichokes are reliable croppers and perennials so you will be able to harvest from these plants for about 4-5 years. Leave some space for them to grow as they can get quite large (up to 2m). Plant in autumn to help roots get established before the spring season when they will produce fruit. They will die back over late winter in colder parts of the country, with new leaves coming through in early spring. Your globe artichoke plug plants will come with a complete growing guide.
