  • Chamomile

    Producing pretty daisy like white and yellow flowers, Chamomile is bursting with healthy vitamins and looks wonderful when in full bloom. This is a German variety, growing upright (as opposed to ground cover) to approx 20cm. It’ll self-seed very easily, so cut it back after flowering if you want to keep it in check.

    This is an early flowering lavender that produces striking white spikes from early summer until early autumn. The plants are quite compact, about 30cm height and spread, which makes them a good option for pots if you’re looking to grow lavender in a smaller space. Give them full sunshine and make sure they have good drainage as they don’t like to get waterlogged.

    Uses: Comfrey should not be eaten. Comfrey is however wonderful used for grazes, bruising and stings. Pick a leaf, spit on it, rub it between the palms till it starts breaking up, then rub on the affected area.

  • Hyssop

    Hyssop produces rich blue, clustered flowers that grow out of one side of its stem. These flowers are great at attracting bees and butterflies to the garden. The stem has a square shape with long pointed aromatic dark green leaves. Hyssop can grow to a height of 45cm.
