    Growing carrots is one of the most rewarding things to do in your kitchen garden…there is just something so satisfying about pulling them up and washing off all the soil so that you can cook them. These Nantes Carrots have a lovely sweet flavour. They’re a bit of a classic in the carrot world, and you can expect to get a size around 6 inches out of them.     This is one of our favourite vegetable plants to grow. Keep it well watered, and plant it in a slightly shady spot. The taste is phenomenal compared to shop bought rocket and it just keeps cropping for months. Cut the outer leaves off as they reach the desired size. Simple.   • Dwarf Runner Bean – Hestia

    Runner beans for small gardens & containers
    This variety is ideal for smaller plots, reaching only 45cm tall. You can plant 4 to 5 in a large pot. They are largely self-supporting, but if grown in a windy spot they would benefit from being grown around a short bamboo wigwam.
