Oriental Choi – Vivid (Autumn)

Great for autumn baby leaf salads
You might recognise this gorgeous purple-red leaf from mixed baby leaf salads, and it is well worth growing over the autumn so that you can add it to your own homegrown salads. You can also let it grow to maturity, harvesting the larger leaves later in the year to use for stir-fries or simply for braising to serve with a roast dinner. Both options are great, and of course you can do a combination of the two, harvesting some leaves young, and waiting before harvesting others. It is a wonderfully hardy plant so you’ll get a nice, long harvesting window.
