Wild Bergamot is a beautiful North American wild flower with a strong scent and very attractive lavender coloured flowers. It can grow to approximately 1m in height. It normally flowers from July to September, so you may get a few blooms this year. The leaves are traditionally used to make a tea to ward off cold and flu-like symptoms. It’s a perennial so will die back and return next spring.
