Unusual, easy to grow and deliciously tasty
This cylindrical beetroot has smooth skin and dark purple-red flesh. We love it for being so easy to slice, and it is perfect for pots too as it really needs very little space to grow. The roots tend to poke above the soil, but they can be earthed up and will remain in good condition for several weeks until you are ready to harvest them. Beetroot is very easy to grow, especially using our organic plug plants which come with a complete growing guide.
