If you’re trying to cut down on plastic and unnecessary packaging this Christmas then we can certainly help… you won’t find any plastic, and any packaging can be either recycled or composted.
- Gift vouchers & tokens are printed on recycled paper with vegetable inks and can be easily recycled (unless of course you want to stick them to the fridge because they do look rather lovely with the pretty veg patch layout plans!)
- Once a voucher is redeemed, we’ll deliver their Plants & Veg Patches (in Spring) in cardboard and brown paper that can be composted or recycled, and straw that can be used in the garden or composted.
- Wreaths, Natural Decorations and Flowers are delivered in cardboard that can be composted, used as a mulch in no-dig gardens, or recycled. After Christmas, remove the bay and chillies from the wreath (keep what you want to use for cooking and any extras can be composted) and keep the frame to use next year with your own greenery or donate it to a charity shop.
