Easy to grow, tasty and unusual little fruits
This unusual little fruit is a vigorous climber/trailer that is both pest and drought resistant. Forming grape sized cucumbers that taste of watermelon with a tiny tinge of lime, these are easier to grow than regular cucumbers and produce a constant stream of fruits throughout the summer months.

Variety: Cucamelon (organic)

Can be grown in: Pots and containers, grow bags, raised beds. They will need some support as the vines can grow to 1.2-1.5m in height.

In the kitchen: These taste wonderful in a salad with cherry tomatoes, can be stir-fried, pickled, eaten as a fruit or even popped on a cocktail stick in your martini!

Can be delivered from: late April to July.

We deliver these plants from late April through to July/August, although it’s a little dependent on the weather.

These plants are available to be ordered now and we’ll despatch them as soon as they are big enough to both handle the journey to your garden and handle life outside the poly tunnel.

Do I need to sign for them?
All our plant orders are dispatched with an overnight courier* to mainland UK and do not need to be signed for when they are delivered, but will be left somewhere safe. When placing your order, please let us know where you would like the plants left if you are not in when the courier delivers.

You will receive an email approximately a week before your order is dispatched and another on the day your plants are packed and leave us so you know to expect and prepare for their arrival.
