    This is a fabulous plant that grows quite large. It’s great looking. Best used as a cut-and-come-again leaf it has a really punchy, mustardy flavour. Add baby leaves to salads or treat larger leaves like spinach and wilt them down.

    An unusual addition to the vegetable garden

    Although popular in Europe, Kohl Rabi is not that common a vegetable in the UK. It tastes like a cross between a broccoli stalk and a turnip. Kohl Rabi ‘Delicacy Purple’ is an early maturing purple variety with round shaped stems and good quality, delicate flesh. Harvest once the diameter reaches about 10cm. It is quite easy to grow, and full instructions are included with the plug plants.

    An easy growing, loose-leafed cabbage

    This is a dwarf variety that can be planted quite close together (25-30cm). When planted in spring you can expect to harvest it from July through to September. Alternatively, plant later and you can harvest later! You can harvest them as delicious, small, tender cabbages or a little later on once the heads have matured. A very useful plant to grow if you struggle to get other cabbages to form a firm heart. Our plug plants make it easy to grow, just follow the advice in the growing guide that comes with the plants.
