To make the most of the summer, pop some quick growing veg plants in the ground or in pots in the next week or two. Some, like wild rocket and lettuces, you’ll be able to harvest within just 2-3 weeks of planting, whilst others will be good for harvesting in late summer/early autumn.
For August/September Cropping
If you can get these planted towards the end of July or in early August, you should be able to enjoy harvesting them in late August/September
For September/October Cropping
These take a little bit longer, but are still fast growers at this time of year and should be good for harvesting in late September/October, especially if you grow them in a polytunnel or greenhouse
