A Medley of Festive Greens

Ditch the sliced carrots and steamed broccoli and make way for a beautiful dish of greens that’ll wow whoever is at your table…

Ingredients: (serves 4-6 as a side)

  • Any combination of the following (enough altogether to fill a large, deep frying pan)
    • Spinach/Chard/Kale (chopped)
    • Leeks (shredded)
    • Sprouts (shredded)
    • Purple Sprouting Broccoli florets
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Juice of half an orange
  • Sea salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Toasted pumpkin seeds/flaked almonds/pine nuts (optional)


  1. On a medium high heat, warm the olive oil in a large frying pan or wok
  2. Add the garlic and fry for 1 minute
  3. Add all your veggies and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until just cooked through
  4. Remove from the heat, mix in the orange juice and season well with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the toasted nuts/seeds, mix together and serve.
