3 Rhubarb Plants – Victoria
Nice and easy to grow, very reliable and completely scrumptious
This perennial vegetable provides the first ‘fruit’ of the season. Rhubarb is reliable to grow, even in poor soil although it responds really well to rich, well drained conditions and annual autumn manuring which’ll give you large crops of tender juicy stems, delicious for cooking with.

Number of plants: 3 (potted)
Can be grown in: Dig a good sized hole and pop your plant in just below ground level and cover with soil. Can be grown in pots or large containers initially, however you will need to increase the pot size as the plant begins to establish itself.
In the kitchen: Good for so much more than crumble. Try making a delicious rhubarb cheesecake, tart, pie, fool, Eton Mess and even chutney.

When we deliver
We deliver these plants from late November until May, depending upon the season. It is a little tricky for us to give a specific date as the fruit bushes and canes are dispatched when they are dormant as this is the best time for them to travel and be planted, so we are a little dependant on the weather
Do I need to sign for them?
All our plant orders are dispatched with an overnight courier* to mainland UK and do not need to be signed for when they are delivered, but will be left somewhere safe. When placing your order, please let us know where you would like the plants left if you are not in when the courier delivers.
We will keep you posted
You will receive an email approximately a week before your order is dispatched and another on the day your plants are packed and leave us so you know to expect and prepare for their arrival.
