A reliable variety of rhubarb plant
This perennial rhubarb provides the first ‘fruit’ of the season. Rhubarb is reliable to grow, even in poor soil although it responds really well to rich, well drained conditions and annual autumn manuring which will give you large crops of tender juicy stems, delicious for cooking with. The rhubarb plant comes in a biodegradable pot – you can pot this on to a larger pot, or plant straight in the ground. You’ll receive full growing instructions with your plant.
Number of plants: 1 potted plant (3 litre biodegradable fibre pot)
Variety: Victoria
In the kitchen: Good for so much more than crumble. Try making a delicious rhubarb cheesecake, tart, pie, fool, Eton Mess and even chutney.

In particular I’ve appreciated todays email With the article from your rocket gardener regarding slow growing sweetcorn. Advice about mulching and adding nitrogen for next year is super helpful. Please do pass my thanks onto your rocket gardener.
