Bulb Fennel – Zefo Fina (Autumn)

This variety produces small-to-medium sized bulbs. A good option for planting early in September if you can, ideally in a greenhouse or polytunnel, otherwise in a sheltered and sunny spot. Bulb fennel is very easy-going – just pop it in the ground in fertile soil, keep it well watered and it should do well. You may need to harvest them small if the weather turns too cold and they are grown outdoors, but if it stays mild you could hope to harvest in November.
